Apple’s Releases Thunderbolt-Equipped new iMac


At last, Apple has officially released new iMac 2011 with more advanced features; new iMacs are available in two flavors that include 21.5 inch and 27 inch with starting price of $1199.
As we expected the new iMacs are coming with Sandy Bridge Processor, FaceTime HD Camera, fastest Thunderbolt I/O Port.
The entry-level 21.5 inch version is coming with 2.5GHz or 2.7GHz Core i5 quad-core chip, AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics and a 500GB hard-drive. Another 21.5 inch Model is powered with a 2.7GHz Core i5, Radeon HD 6770M and 1TB of hard-drive.
The 27 inch Version of iMac comes with a 2.7GHz Core i5, Radeon HD 6770M and 1TB of Hard Drive and optional up to 2TB of storage, a 256GB SSD and additional DDR3 memory from the 4GB standard. The price of iMac will be available according to the customization.

If you want further faster processor, you have option of customizing the desktop with Core i7 up to 3.4GHz Processor.
Other features include FaceTime HD Camera for Video calling, Thunderbolt I/O Port for faster Data Transferring that was first introduced with new Mac Book Pro line up early.  Thunderbolt can transfer up to 10 gigabits per second, which clocks in at 20 times faster than USB 2.0, 12 times faster than Firewire 800 and five times faster than USB 3.0.
Additional build-to-order options include 2TB hard drives, an additional 256GB solid-state drive alongside the main drive, and up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. Customers can choose between a Magic Mouse or a Magic Trackpad with their order.
The displays have a 16:9 aspect ratio, and LED backlighting. 21.5-inch iMac has a 1920×1080 HD resolution, the 27-inch models have 78 percent more pixels in their 2560×1440 resolution displays.
The iMacs also include a FireWire 800 port, four USB 2.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet and audio in/out. For connectivity the desktops have Integrated Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a FaceTime HD camera you can make full-screen HD video. a Magic Mouse or Magic Track pad along with the standard wireless keyboard is also optional, both Models are now available from Apple Store.

LG New Blade Series of Notebooks P430 and P530 models.


LG Electronics announced new “Blade” series notebooks, which based on a ultra-thin profile. The company says that the notebooks are up to 50 percent thinner than any other notebooks in their class. LG Notebook the P430 and P530 weight 4.28 pounds and 4.85 pounds respectively.
Making up the line are the P430 and P530 models. The P430 offers a 14-inch LCD screen that measures 4.3mm thick, while the P530 has a 15.60-inch display with a slightly larger 4.7mm thickness.
Both the P430 and the P530 come with a choice of a Core i3, i5 or i7 processor, all of which are significantly faster than the previous generation chips. In terms of graphics processors, both notebooks have dedicated Nvidia’s GeForce GT 520M GPU, which offers users, gaming and video capabilities and are equipped with Aluminum bodies.
Both models come loaded with Microsoft Windows 7, and sport 1.3MP HD webcams,WiFi, Bluetooth. They also include SRS and DLNA technology, for content sharing with other DLNA-enabled devices. Customers can choose between either the “Misty Blue” or “Titan Black” brushed aluminum finishes.

Steps to install ISA server 2006


Steps to install ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition:
This post will show how to install ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition on a Windows 2003 Server or Windows 2008 server which has 2 network interfaces: one is connected to internal network(LAN) and the other connected to external(Internet). The diagram is as below:
Step-by-step installation guide
  • Open ISA setup program by clicking the setup file.
  • Click Next.
  • Enter your license information. Click Next.
  • Select Setup Type. If you want to customize features or change installed directory, select Custom. Otherwise, select Typical. I leave Typical for convenience.
  • On Internal Network, you must enter your internal IP address range. You can do this by adding manually or select from network adapter. Before click next, ensure that your network addressed was configured correctly.
  • On Firewall Client Connections, if you haven’t upgrade from previous ISA Server(ISA 2000 or 2004), leave the check box uncheck and click Next. Otherwise, check the check box before continue.
  • On Service Warning, click Next. Notice that some of services will be restarted or disabled while installing.
  • Click Install.
  • Wait for install finishes.
  • You can check “Invoke ISA Server Management when the wizard closes” if you want to configure ISA now.
  • Now you have finished installing ISA Server 2006.

Steps To Transfer FSMO Roles In Windows 2003/2008


To Transfer the Domain-Specific RID Master, PDC Emulator, and Infrastructure Master FSMO Roles:
1. Open the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in from the Administrative Tools folder.
2. If you are NOT logged onto the target domain controller, in the snap-in, right-click the icon next to Active Directory Users and Computers and press Connect to Domain Controller.
3. Select the domain controller that will be the new role holder, the target, and press OK.
4. Right-click the Active Directory Users and Computers icon again and press Operation Masters.
5. Select the appropriate tab for the role you wish to transfer and press the Change button.
6. Press OK to confirm the change.
7. Press OK all the way out.
Transferring the Domain Naming Master via GUI
To Transfer the Domain Naming Master Role:
1. Open the Active Directory Domains and Trusts snap-in from the Administrative Tools folder.
2. If you are NOT logged onto the target domain controller, in the snap-in, right-click the icon next to Active Directory Domains and Trusts and press Connect to Domain Controller.

2. From the Run command open an MMC Console by typing MMC.
3. On the Console menu, press Add/Remove Snap-in.
4. Press Add. Select Active Directory Schema.

6. If you are NOT logged onto the target domain controller, in the snap-in, right-click the Active Directory Schema icon in the Console Root and press Change Domain Controller.
7. Press Specify .... and type the name of the new role holder. Press OK.
8. Right-click right-click the Active Directory Schema icon again and press Operation Masters.
9. Press the Change button.
10. Press OK all the way out.
Transferring the FSMO Roles via Ntdsutil
To transfer the FSMO roles from the Ntdsutil command:
Caution: Using the Ntdsutil utility incorrectly may result in partial or complete loss of Active Directory functionality.
1. On any domain controller, click Start, click Run, type Ntdsutil in the Open box, and then click OK.

1. You will receive a warning window asking if you want to perform the transfer. Click on Yes.
2. After you transfer the roles, type q and press ENTER until you quit Ntdsutil.exe.
3. Restart the server and make sure you update your backup.

How to Install Windows 7 in Pen Drive

Install windows 7 in pen Drive
Requirements:
§  USB Flash Drive (Minimum 4GB)
§  Windows 7 or Vista installation files.
Follow the below steps to create bootable Windows 7/Vista USB drive using which you can install Windows 7/Windows Vista easily.
1. Plug-in your USB flash drive to USB port.
2. Open Command Prompt with admin rights. 
Type cmd in Start menu search box and hit CtrlShiftEnter.
Or
Go to Start menu > All programs > Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
3. You need to know about the USB drive a little bit. Type in the following commands in the command prompt:
First type DISKPART and hit enter to see the below message.

Next type LIST DISK command and note down the Disk number of your USB flash drive. In the below screenshot my Flash Drive Disk no is Disk 1.
4. Next type all the below commands one by one. Here I assume that your disk drive no is “Disk 1”.If you have Disk 2 as your USB flash drive then use Disk 2.Refer the above step to confirm it.
So below are the commands you need to type and execute one by one:
SELECT DISK 1
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION 1
ACTIVE
FORMAT FS=NTFS
(Format process may take few seconds)
ASSIGN
EXIT
Note: - Don’t close the command prompt

5. Next insert your Windows7/Vista DVD into the optical drive and check the drive letter of the DVD drive. In this guide I will assume that your DVD drive letter is “D” and USB drive letter is “H” (open my computer to know about it).
6. Maximize the minimized Command Prompt in the 4th step. Type the following command now:
D: CD BOOT and hit enter. Where “D” is your DVD drive letter.
CD BOOT and hit enter to see the below message.
7. Type another command given below to update the USB drive with BOOTMGR compatible code.
BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 H:
Target volumes will be updated with BOQTMGR compatible bootcode.
H: (\\?\Volume{82fac533—db6c—11dd—bFd2-0019d1a19c48))
Successfully updated NTFS file system bootcode.
Bootcode was successfully updated on all targeted volumes
D:\boot>
Where “H” is your USB drive letter. Once you enter the above command you will see the below message.
8. Copy your Windows 7/Vista DVD contents to the USB flash drive.
9. Your USB drive is ready to boot and install Windows 7/Windows Vista.
