Acer the popular technology companie,has launched two versions of its Iconia tablets. The Iconia A500 features the Android Honeycomb 3.0 operating system and the Iconia W500 has Windows 7 OS in it.
The Acer A500, support Google Android Honeycomb tablets is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset ,It has a dual core 1GHz processor,1 GB RAM and HD-optimized graphics with Flash 10.2 support. The ultra-sensitive gyro meter of the Acer ICONIA TAB A500, makes the device a gaming platform with premium HD arcade games and complex online 3D games. The tablet will have a 5MP rear camera and frontal 2 megapixel camera. A500 will be available in two different storage sizes of 16GB to 32GB with Wi-Fi version.The devices sport a capacitive touchscreen display with 13.33 mm thick and a full size USB port along with a mini USB port, HDMI output, SIM Card support, Micro SD card slot. This tablet is priced at  27,990.
The Iconia W500 which runs on Microsoft Windows 7, is a dual screen notebook powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, 2 GB DDR3 RAM. The 14-inch Acer notebook will also have two touch-enabled HD LED backlit displays. This tablet comes with a 32GB storage space version. It has a portable docking station that will add to a full sized keyboard. This tablet will be priced at  32,499.
Along with the Acer Iconia Tab A500 and W500, Acer also launched the Iconia Smart A300 Android smartphone, Iconia Tab A100 7 inch Android tablet and the dual screen Iconia notebook. The pricing details of these three haven’t been announced yet.

The world popular technology company Acer has now launched the Acer Iconia smartphone in India, an Android handset with a 4.8-inch HXGA touch screen with 4 keys: Home, Search, Back, and Menu.
Some of the specifications for the Acer Iconia Smart device is a 1GHz Snapragon processor, 8GB internal memory, an 8 megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording and a 2 megapixel front facing camera.
It’s equipped with the latest release of the Google operating system, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Acer user interface 4.2, 3G, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, WiFi, AGPS, Dolby Mobile sound, HDMI port, 3.5mm jack and microSD expansion up to 32GB.

Mark Zuckerberg’s new House in Silicon Valley


The 26-year-old(born May 14, 1984) billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has purchased a $7-million house in in Silicon Valley,(Palo Alto) 10 minute drive from his company’s forthcoming Menlo Park campus.The house is remodeled and was built in 1903 in 20th- century.The house has five full bathrooms, a sunroom, a sweeping porch, saltwater pool,outdoor pavilion with a fireplace and ample privacy.Before the purchase, Zuckerberg has been renting residences in the same area. but before that Mark Zuckerberg has come a long way from the days when he crashed in a tiny apartment with little more than a mattress on the floor and dial-up Internet access.

Steps to reset apple iPhone

Soft Resetting the iPhone can be done like :-
If your iPhone 4 is frozen or hangs and won’t respond, you may want to try a Soft Reset.
1. On your iPhone 4 press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for about ten seconds. After ten seconds you should see the Apple logo showing up.
2. Now try to run you phone again and see if it works.

For Hard reset of iPhone Recovery mode:-
Verify system requirements befor connecting the iPhone to computer.
Make sure your computer has the following:
USB 2.0 port
The latest version of iTunes
and one of the following operating systems:
Mac OS X version 10.5.8 or later
Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
If your computer does not meet these requirements, you may need to upgrade your computer before using iPhone.
When updating or restoring, connect iPhone to a USB port that is built into the computer instead of the keyboard or an external USB hub.
Remove all USB devices other than your mouse, keyboard, and iPhone.
Use the Dock Connector to USB cable that came with iPhone. Do not use a dock or third-party cable.
If your computer has USB ports on the front and back, use a USB port in the back of your computer.
Disable your firewall such as security software, anti-virus software, and proxies.
if you wish to return to this assistant after restarting your computer,
Disconnect your iPhone. Restart your computer, then reconnect iPhone.
Plug in the device to the computer and start iTunes.
Stepst for a hard reset
  • Plug in the device to the computer and start iTunes.
  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake + Home for 12 seconds.
  • Once you see the Apple Logo appears, release the power and continue to hold down the home button for about 5-10 seconds. Look in iTunes and see if your device have shows up.
  • iTunes will notify you that you are now in Recovery mode. Click on OK to continue with the restore process.
  • Next press and hold on the SHIFT button and click on the Restore button. Select the latest IPSW file and the prompt appears.
  • iTunes should now attempt to get your device back to the manufacturer setting.
  • iTunes will later give you an opportunity to restore you content from the PC. Every time when you do a sync, iTunes makes a backup so you can choose the latest backup from the sync.
OR
Once it’s off, press and hold the “Home” button and plug your iPhone into a Mac or PC with iTunes installed. Keep holding the “Home” button until you see a dock cable pointing to the iTunes icon. iPhones running older software will display a yellow triangle and text which says “Please Connect to iTunes”. Once you see this image, you can release the Home button. Open iTunes (if it’s not already open) and you will be told that “iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.” Click “OK” and you will be taken to the iPhone pane. Click “Restore” and you’re done, it’s that easy! Depending on the extent of your iPhone’s ills, it may take some time to do a full restore. Once you’re done, you should again have a perfectly working iPhone.
If this doesn’t solve your problem, you may need to restore using DFU (Direct Firmware Upgrade) mode. To enter this mode, plug in your iPhone and turn it off. Hold down the “Home” and “Sleep/Wake” buttons for about twelve seconds. You’ll briefly see the silver Apple logo and then your phone will appear to turn back off. Release the “Sleep/Wake” button but continue to hold the “Home” button until you see a message in iTunes stating that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Choose “Restore” and you should be fixed right up!

Apple’s Releases Thunderbolt-Equipped new iMac


At last, Apple has officially released new iMac 2011 with more advanced features; new iMacs are available in two flavors that include 21.5 inch and 27 inch with starting price of $1199.
As we expected the new iMacs are coming with Sandy Bridge Processor, FaceTime HD Camera, fastest Thunderbolt I/O Port.
The entry-level 21.5 inch version is coming with 2.5GHz or 2.7GHz Core i5 quad-core chip, AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics and a 500GB hard-drive. Another 21.5 inch Model is powered with a 2.7GHz Core i5, Radeon HD 6770M and 1TB of hard-drive.
The 27 inch Version of iMac comes with a 2.7GHz Core i5, Radeon HD 6770M and 1TB of Hard Drive and optional up to 2TB of storage, a 256GB SSD and additional DDR3 memory from the 4GB standard. The price of iMac will be available according to the customization.

If you want further faster processor, you have option of customizing the desktop with Core i7 up to 3.4GHz Processor.
Other features include FaceTime HD Camera for Video calling, Thunderbolt I/O Port for faster Data Transferring that was first introduced with new Mac Book Pro line up early.  Thunderbolt can transfer up to 10 gigabits per second, which clocks in at 20 times faster than USB 2.0, 12 times faster than Firewire 800 and five times faster than USB 3.0.
Additional build-to-order options include 2TB hard drives, an additional 256GB solid-state drive alongside the main drive, and up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. Customers can choose between a Magic Mouse or a Magic Trackpad with their order.
The displays have a 16:9 aspect ratio, and LED backlighting. 21.5-inch iMac has a 1920×1080 HD resolution, the 27-inch models have 78 percent more pixels in their 2560×1440 resolution displays.
The iMacs also include a FireWire 800 port, four USB 2.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet and audio in/out. For connectivity the desktops have Integrated Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a FaceTime HD camera you can make full-screen HD video. a Magic Mouse or Magic Track pad along with the standard wireless keyboard is also optional, both Models are now available from Apple Store.

LG New Blade Series of Notebooks P430 and P530 models.


LG Electronics announced new “Blade” series notebooks, which based on a ultra-thin profile. The company says that the notebooks are up to 50 percent thinner than any other notebooks in their class. LG Notebook the P430 and P530 weight 4.28 pounds and 4.85 pounds respectively.
Making up the line are the P430 and P530 models. The P430 offers a 14-inch LCD screen that measures 4.3mm thick, while the P530 has a 15.60-inch display with a slightly larger 4.7mm thickness.
Both the P430 and the P530 come with a choice of a Core i3, i5 or i7 processor, all of which are significantly faster than the previous generation chips. In terms of graphics processors, both notebooks have dedicated Nvidia’s GeForce GT 520M GPU, which offers users, gaming and video capabilities and are equipped with Aluminum bodies.
Both models come loaded with Microsoft Windows 7, and sport 1.3MP HD webcams,WiFi, Bluetooth. They also include SRS and DLNA technology, for content sharing with other DLNA-enabled devices. Customers can choose between either the “Misty Blue” or “Titan Black” brushed aluminum finishes.

Steps to install ISA server 2006


Steps to install ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition:
This post will show how to install ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition on a Windows 2003 Server or Windows 2008 server which has 2 network interfaces: one is connected to internal network(LAN) and the other connected to external(Internet). The diagram is as below:
Step-by-step installation guide
  • Open ISA setup program by clicking the setup file.
  • Click Next.
  • Enter your license information. Click Next.
  • Select Setup Type. If you want to customize features or change installed directory, select Custom. Otherwise, select Typical. I leave Typical for convenience.
  • On Internal Network, you must enter your internal IP address range. You can do this by adding manually or select from network adapter. Before click next, ensure that your network addressed was configured correctly.
  • On Firewall Client Connections, if you haven’t upgrade from previous ISA Server(ISA 2000 or 2004), leave the check box uncheck and click Next. Otherwise, check the check box before continue.
  • On Service Warning, click Next. Notice that some of services will be restarted or disabled while installing.
  • Click Install.
  • Wait for install finishes.
  • You can check “Invoke ISA Server Management when the wizard closes” if you want to configure ISA now.
  • Now you have finished installing ISA Server 2006.
