What's the difference between HDD (Hard Disk Drive), SSD (Solid State Drive) and NVMe (nonvolatile memory express)?
Which is better for you? Hard Disk(HDD), SSD and NVMe

In this video, you will know the difference between SSDs, HHDs and NVMe.  I will show you how to install an ssd to your laptop and SSD will make your computer extremely fast. If you have installed your Operating System on SSD, you can feel that computer booting speed more faster what you expected, the booting time of my ssd with windows 10 is lighting fast!

The type of storage your computer uses matters for performance, including power usage and reliability.
Solid state drives (SSDs), hard disk drives (HDDs) and Nonevolatile Memory Express (NVMe)  are the three main storage options to consider.

Choosing the right storage isn’t just about comparing capacity and cost.

What Is an HDD?
An HDD is a data storage device that lives inside the computer/Laptop. It has a spinning disks (HDD) inside that have platter to perform read/write where data is stored magnetically on spinning Platters a moving disk that have data on it.
The HDD has an arm with several "heads" (transducers) that read and write data on the disk(HDD) with help of a morter.
HDDs are considered a legacy technology, meaning they’ve been around longer than SSDs.
In general, they are lower in cost
They are available in two common form factors: 2.5 inch (commonly used in laptops) and 3.5 inch (desktop computers).

What Is an SSD?

SSDs got their name from solid state Drive because they dont have any moving part, as they are solidstate devices under the Cover(Hard disk Chassis).
In an SSD, all data is stored in integrated circuits (memory chip). This difference from HDDs has a lot of implications, especially in size and performance.

What is an NVMe?

NVM Express (NVMe SSD) or Non-Volatile Memory Host Controller Interface Specification (NVMHCIS) is an open, logical-device interface specification for accessing a computer's non-volatile (a type of computer memory that retain sotred information even after power is removed) storage media usually attached via PCI Express (PCIe) bus.

NVMe (nonvolatile memory express) is a new storage access and transport protocol for flash and next-generation solid-state drives (SSDs) that delivers the highest throughput and fastest response times yet for all types of enterprise workloads.

Today, users expect very-fast response times, even if the applications is complex and resource dependent is deliver a high-bandwidth, low-latency user experience, the NVMe protocol accesses flash storage via a PCI Express (PCIe) bus, which supports tens of thousands faster than hard disks and traditional all-flash architectures, which are limited to a single command queue.

Difference Between Hard Drive SSD and NVMe-SSD

1. Speed:
SSDs dramatically fast it reduce access time since users don’t have to wait for platter rotation to start up.
Since HDD drives use spinning disks to perform read/write operations, they are  slower than SSD drives. In a nutshell, speed is a crucial difference between HDD and SSD drives.

SSDs an increasingly popular by their speed.
Across the board, SSDs overtake HDDs because they use electrical circuitry and have no physical moving parts.
This leads to shorter wait times when you’re starting up and fewer delays when opening apps or doing heavy computing tasks.

For example, there is Seagate, WD, Intel SSD is a 1TB enterprise-grade SSD that offers over 500MB/s, 2000MB/s to 7000 MB/s in bandwidth so you can assume how fast SSD are .
These faster speeds lead to performance benefits in several areas, such as when logging in and waiting for apps and services to start up, or when performing storage-intensive tasks such as copying a large file. With an HDD, performance slows significantly, while an SSD can continue to work on other tasks.

2. Interfaces.
You might have heard of these interfaces—SATA and PCI Express (PCIe).
SATA is an older, slower, legacy technology, while PCIe is newer and faster.
SSDs with PCIe interfaces will typically be much faster than HDDs with SATA because PCIe contains more channels to transfer data.

3. Price:
SSDs are more expensive than HDDs per amount of storage (in gigabytes (GB) and terabytes (TB)), but the gap is closing as SSD prices decline at a faster pace that HDD prices year over year.

When it comes to pricing, Hard Drives are definitely in the lead as they cost way less than a Solid State Drive (SSD).

4. Durability

SSD (Solid State Drives): These drives, on the other hand, utilize instantly accessible memory chips to store the data.
SSDs are more durable than an HDD drive as they don’t have any moving parts. Since SSDs utilize storage chips to save data, they can easily withstand falls and other unexpected accidents. SSDs is more reliable then HDDs becase they don’t have moving part spinning disk data are stored in Chips.

5. Availability
The hard drives are abundant and come with a great range of capacities. These are more available in older systems and laptops. On the other hand, SSD is usually for the laptops like Macbook Pro in which an HDD cannot be opted for its configuration restrictions.

6. Power Consumption:
As compared to an HDD, a solid-state drive is more power-efficient. Since SSDs use small memory chips, they don’t require extra power to perform any read/write operations. Like No moving part.

7. SSD vs. HDD Size :-
When it comes to capacity, SSDs for computers are available in 120GB to 30.72TB capacities
whereas HDDs can go anywhere from 250GB to 20TB.

Microsoft Windows Quick Assist Free App for windows 10 Computers

uick Assist is as windows 10 App to take remote of other PC.
Quick Assist is a Microsoft Windows 10 and above feature that allows a user to view or control a remote Windows 10 computer over a network or the Internet to resolve issues without directly touching the PC\Laptop. It is based on the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).

We can use it to remotely connect to a user’s device and then view its display, make annotations, or take full control. In this way, they can troubleshoot.
