Motorola launched the Xoom with four accessories. The one that really stands out is the HD Speaker Dock—it allows you to run Android 3.0 on your HDTV.
The Motorola Xoom's built-in speaker isn't very impressive, and the speaker in the HD media dock. The exciting part of the dock is around back, where there's a micro-HDMI port so you can connect your docked Xoom to an HDTV or monitor.
Whatever is on the Motorola Xoom's screen is mirrored when connected to an HDTV or monitor. The Xoom's display resolution is 1280-by-800, and the mirrored image is displayed in 1280-by-720, so the only part that is not displayed is the black notification bar.
In my tests, all of the apps on the Xoom played back on HDTV (YouTube, the Web Browser, even Google Talk), though you still have the operate the experience from the touch screen interface on the Motorola Xoom.
Is there a way to connect if my TV doesn't have an hdmi input?
