Social activist Anna Hazare has announced hunger-strike in New Delhi April 5Demanding enactment of a strong anti-corruption law on the lines of Jan Lokpal Bill
(Citizen's Ombudsman Bill) to check corruption.And he said that
"I would not return to Maharashtra until the Lokpal Bill is passed," said Hazare, who has announced an indefinite hunger-strike in New Delhi at jantar mantar on April 5 10:00 AM .
He claims that the 'Jan Lokpal Bill', prepared by social activists, could ensure immediate jail to a person against whom corruption has come to light through a Right to Information query.
Hazare has also appealed to people to support the Jan Lokpal Bill and launch agitation in their respective towns and villages to put pressure on the government.
