Toyota Motor Will Shut Down

Toyota Motor Corp said temporary closures due to lack of parts shortages due to the earthquake that hit Japan.

Toyota just announced it will Temporary shut down all of its North American factories due to shortages of parts from coming from tsunami-ravaged Japan Japan.
This is a temporary shutdown, which will affect about 25,000 workers. The length of the shutdown is unknown and depends on how fast Japanese parts factories can get back in operation.Toyota gets about 15 percent of its parts from Japan. All 13 of Toyota’s factories will be closed working dure to shortage of parts.
